is available as 'shareware'.

it will also run under Windows NT 4.0

The RAILSIM Australian Website
has had a number of changes recently incorporated;
Please check out the site map available
from a link at the bottom of the page

RAILSIM-trains are controlled via keyboard. Control functions include throttle, automatic brake valve, dynamic brake (if fitted to your locomotive), sand, horn.

Steam locomotives' controls have been updated; cutoff and regulator have to be opened to accelerate the locomotive, and cutoff has to be reduced with increasing speed.

In addition you can vary the amount of light to suit daytime or night-time driving along your selected track.

You can even select poor visibility for your run - the worse case being in pouring rain, with the windscreen wipers keeping the front window clear.

A soundcard is not supported at this stage.
