Stop
1. You need to acknowledge all changes to the light display which may include flashing lights.
2. You need to acknowledge all external signals that have a changed aspect as you pass them.
3. This includes a secondary or lower aspect that shows yellow or green - fixed or flashing, even if the upper aspect is fixed green "clear to proceed"
4. Normally a permissive single aspect signal at clear (green) and an absolute signal with top aspect cleared (green) with the two below both being at red can be ignored.
5. The EOT (End of Train) button should be used as normal to determine when the train's speed may be increased after passing an increase in speed limit instruction.
6. As soon as track speed drops to 75mph (or whatever the ATC speed is set to in the track file) or below, the ATC will cut out at the next signal. No action is required by the driver because the ATC is disabled, and an acknowledgement will "fall upon deaf ears".
7. On its increase above 75mph again, the ATC will cut back in at the following signal. This needs to be acknowledged by the driver.
